After graduating from Texas Christian University in 2013 with a BFA in Printmaking and Arts Administration, Evan Rottet moved to Houston, TX to further her exploration and involvement in the arts. She co-founded GAIA Collective; a Holistic Healing Artist Coalition, worked as a commissioned and exhibited artist and was published in the arts magazine Blue Canvas.
Over time and by means of her curiosity in subliminal subjects, Rottet began to believe making and surveying art as a means of therapy. A release of subconscious turmoil or unrest. She found a passion for pushing the limits of traditional methods of printmaking and the psychological benefits of this approach.
As an artist who has come to this realization, Rottet makes work that provokes the viewer to consider more than what was going on in the mind of the artist and incites a deeper understanding of the viewer itself. Her artwork challenges traditional techniques and escapes stereotypes of editions, two dimensional, matted and framed works. She encourages investigation into this liberating method of printmaking and plans to pursue inspiring others through Art Therapy.

Missy is a mystic, dreamer, soul searcher, animal dancer, wonder weaver, wild spirit. She is a facilitator of transformation, Yoga being that star of that role. She nurtures, inspires, and envisions. She is a vessel that wants to heal the people from the inside out, through the creatures, through the land, uniting heaven and earth in their hearts.
She wants to create magic and bring people back to their wild selves. Wild does not mean crazy and out of control. It means living naturally and holistically, rooted in ancient tradition but growing in the modern world. Nature is not small, she does not play small. She is big, powerful, potent and full of force...and so are you.
Missy has come to believe in the healing power of her own hands and she wants the people, too, to feel this enchantment. The enchantment to heal oneself, through oneself. To shine. Every Divine Day..

Her Gaia sisters introduced Meredith to crystals and mediation at a hard time in her life. This introduction helped her find the peace and guidance she needed to get her life back on track. By mediation she learned the strength of positive intention. She used this insight to motivate her to go out in the world and find what Gaia would provide her.
After graduating college, Meredith moved to California to follow her dreams while breathing in the fresh Pacific Ocean air every morning. In Los Angeles she could explore her renewed life to the fullest. It wasn't until moving to California that Meredith began attempting the craft of wire wrapping. After many initial failed attempts, she discovered her strengths in working with fabric and feathers to create hand crafted Head Dresses. Ranging in size and style, Meredith creates beautiful, custom made feathered pieces.
As a perfectionist, it took her some time to find her "groove" with wire wrapping, but after much determination and positive intention, her skill finally "clicked". Now, Meredith creates simple, unique and refined jewelry. She aims to provide metaphysical gems in a setting appealing to customers of all different lifestyles and ages.
